The SoW outlines what is going to be delivered, by whom, when and how for your PropTech digital project.
In most cases, it’s a legally binding agreement and even if it isn’t it should be treated like it is. It’s a promise to the client from the agency team that they’re prepared to meet the challenge of the brief. It is a clear documentation of how you will achieve the required result.
When creating an S.o.W, be sure to check whether there’s a pre-existing Master Services Agreement (MSA). Many things are agreed upon by the agency’s and client’s lawyers long before a project manager is assigned. These include such things as the change control process, billing schedule, governance, timelines, and rate card. Note that italicised text within square brackets should be deleted before sending the SoW to the client. This template is copyright-free and can be used or adapted at no cost.
