The SHEDyt platform enables homeowners to make property-related purchases through the digital home manual by interrogating any existing data being networked and replacing, adding or updating new products to the contents or inventory as necessary.

Essentially, the occupier will no longer need to print receipts or paper trails of purchases to be stored in physical binders or held electronically on USB or Cloud drives. The digital home manual provides an online platform where real-time data can be viewed, managed and/or shared both manually or automatically.

This function also allows non-technical homeowners to easily find and interface everything they need to replace, repair or maintain a home product or component without having to identify and diagnose the issues, as well as browse for affordable solutions, themselves. This is why we are calling it ‘unified purchasing’, can you suggest a better name?

And for the marketplace of property experts or retailers, instead of having to pepper the online world with advertisements, it provides businesses with qualified leads and integrated access to willing buyers with immediate needs.

The property industry is moving towards a model where data is held for perpetuity. The automotive industry already has such that you can view, manage and/or share data associated by number plate – and automotive suppliers can then offer tailored services (as opposed to generalised marketing) directly to owners by their vehicles’ make, model and history.
